It is often needed for people to know what is the actual difference between data and information in computer. Actually if we understand the main difference between data and information then we can easily remind this, however this post is for
educational purpose only.

Difference Between Data and Information in Computer:

01. Data is a raw material and unorganized facts that need to be processed.

But when this data is processed and organized and when they are meaningful is called information.

02.  Data is the primary condition to generate any information. On the other side- Information are generated from data.

03. Only Data has no value and they are almost useless. When Data is meaningful it is called information. And any information is useful.

04. Data is the lowest level of knowledge and information is the second level.

05. Observations and recordings are done to obtain data, But analysis is done to obtain information.
